The Neptunians were a peaceful race; consequently they were on the path of destruction. Lurking above in the abyss of space, where the Xenophis. This wandering planet inhabited by brutal creatures, roamed space in search of life to destroy. Hovering above the peaceful planet of Neptune, the Xenophis began to deploy their seeds of destruction. Small oval protected entities with powers of destruction envied by satin himself. Upon recognition of the upcoming doom, the people of Neptune left their fate in the hands of their god, Poseidon. The Five Emperors of the planet came together to the statue of their god and performed the ultimate ritual as described in the book of The Gods. Soon after, the 5 Emperors along with all the inhabitants of the planet looked up in amazement, at the events unfolding in the aqua tinted space.

Hehe, pulled an Alyn on this one and came up with a story to compliment the artwork. Not sure if I based the artwork on the story, or vice-versa because I had both in my head.

I got a wacom tablet about 2 weeks ago, so i've been going crazy with that, REALLY makes stuff alot easier, this is my first full painted nebula, I am very proud of the way it came out. Some technical details:
Time Spent - About a week

Layers - Close to 400
Original Size - 2000 x 3300
